Wallows made a big return to Atlanta, GA as the third stop on their tour, playing to a sold out crowd at the Tabernacle on Saturday, February 15, 2020. The opening act for this show was Penelope Isles. The band Wallows includes singers/guitarists Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and drummer Cole Preston.

The audience started to cheer when members of Wallows began appearing on the stage. They opened with fan favorites tracks, “Do Not Wait”, “Only Friend”, “Sidelines”, “Sun Tan”, and “These Days”, while their fans sang along to every word. Wallows were very energetic, and the crowd matched the band energy when they were hyped up and cheering throughout the show.

The production set was amazing with lots of bright neon lights, and there was even balloons falling down and people were having fun tossing them in the air! The crowd showed a lot of enthusiasm to the songs played, they were even rocking out to the song “Scrawny”, which got the most applause from the crowd. Most of the Wallows members were moving around the stage with lots of energy. They definitely have stage presence, and they are confident with their performances.

Dylan, Braeden, and Cole have been playing in groups together since they were eleven, starting out at a music program. Nearly a decade later, they have released their alternative pop-rock album “Nothing Happens” in March 2019. Wallows debuts at No. 4 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, and the group’s debut studio album “Nothing Happens” arrived at No. 13 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart.

The Tabernacle have large room space, and there is a general admission floor and the seats were upstairs. The venue staff were polite and helpful.

Wallows also did an encore that included the songs “1980s Horror Film” and “Pleaser.” At the end of their performance Wallows gave the spotlight to their other instruments players and appreciated their hard work! Overall, the concert was fantastic, and it was worth attending! Dylan even said that the Atlanta show is his favorite show so far from the tour!
