Twice Brings the Heat With Their Fifth World Tour "Ready To Be" in Atlanta

Twice, the nine-member girl group from South Korea, delivered a spectacular performance on July 9, 2023, as they brought their fifth world tour "Ready To Be" to Truist Park in Atlanta, GA. The show was part of their 12-city tour across North America, Europe, and Asia, showcasing their latest hits and fan favorites. The show was sold out, attracting thousands of fans (called ONCE) who waved their CandyBong Z lightsticks and sang along to every song.

The show started with a bang as Twice opened with their English single "The Feels," followed by "Alcohol-Free," their summer anthem from their tenth mini album Taste of Love. The members - Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu - looked stunning in their colorful outfits and hairstyles, radiating charisma, and charm on stage. They greeted the fans in English and expressed their excitement to be in Atlanta for the first time.

The concert was divided into several segments, each with a different theme and vibe. The first segment featured some of their upbeat and catchy songs like "Heart Shaker,” "What is Love?" and "YES or YES." The second segment showcased their versatility and talent as they performed various unit stages. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Momo impressed with their powerful dance cover of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love," while Sana, Jihyo, and Tzuyu captivated with their sultry rendition of Ariana Grande's "Positions." Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung surprised the fans with a cover of the song "Switch to Me," a retro-pop duet by Rain and Park Jin Young.

The third segment was a blast from the past as Twice performed some of their older hits like "Cheer Up," "TT," and "Likey." The fans went wild as they danced and chanted along to the iconic songs that made Twice one of the most popular K-pop groups in the world. The fourth segment was a celebration of their recent achievements and growth as artists. They performed some of their newer songs like "I CAN'T STOP ME," "CRY FOR ME," and "SCIENTIST," showcasing their mature and sophisticated sides. They also performed "Perfect World," their Japanese single that was released in 2021.

The fifth and final segment was a heartfelt thank you to the fans who have supported them throughout their journey. They performed "Feel Special," a song that they dedicated to each other and to ONCE, followed by "DEPEND ON YOU," a song that they wrote for their fifth anniversary. They also performed "ONE IN A MILLION," a fan song that expresses their gratitude and love for ONCE. They ended the show with a cheerful performance of "Dance The Night Away," accompanied by fireworks and confetti.

Throughout the concert, Twice interacted with the fans playfully and genuinely. They cracked jokes, shared stories, gave compliments, and expressed their emotions. They also spoke about how much they missed performing live and how happy they were to be back on stage. They thanked the fans for waiting for them and for making their dreams come true.
