The Coca-Cola Roxy lights shined with The Driver Era’s Obsession Tour marquee. Fans lined up early for a suitable spot, and their outfits were stylish and colorful. The energy was at an all-time high the second the doors opened. This tour is called the “Obsession” tour, per their new unreleased album “Obsession.” This tour gave fans a sneak peek of what to expect in this new era.
Brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch took the stage with their energetic band. A curtain covered the stage while they sang “Touch.” Once the curtain dropped, the crowd erupted into screams. During “You Keep Me Up at Night,” green lights took over the stage, and Rocky couldn’t stop shredding his guitar. The show then comprised some released singles from the Obsession album, “Don’t Walk Away” and “Same Old Story.” A big LED screen was behind the band, which showcased colorful designs and projected videos of them on stage, from the videographer working his video camera on stage. The production also had a fake payphone that was used as a prop throughout the show.

During one part of the set, Rocky stood alone with his guitar and sang “Everybody’s Lover.” This highlighted Rocky’s powerful talent and passion for music. They then played “Natural” and a slowed-down version of “Afterglow.” With the night almost ending, The Driver Era did a cover of “Need You Tonight,” which sent the fans into a frenzy. The encore was “Rumors,” “Get Off My Phone,” and “A Kiss.” Fans sang and danced to every song, and there was a surprise Kiss Cam. It was a fun and memorable night for everyone in the crowd. Production was off the hook, and the lighting was so bright and vibrant. If they’re in your area, make sure you catch a show!
