BLACKPINK Wows the Atlanta Crowd With Their Incredible Concert Production at the State Farm Arena
BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] ATLANTA DAY TWO - NOVEMBER 3, 2022
It was BLACKPINK second time coming to Atlanta at the State Farm Arena in three years and they did not disappoint! BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group consisting of members Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo. Their fans which are called "Blinks" flooded the crowd with their light sticks bumping to the beat of each song. BLACKPINK opened with "How You Like That," with new choreography as well. Other songs in the beginning were "Pretty Savage" and "Whistle" and they followed with their introductions. More performances occurred and they brought the heat to ATL! Through their breaks they played clips of the members and their visuals were astonishing.
The first solo was Jisoo’s which she covered "Liar" by Camila Cabello. She performed with her backup dancers all dressed in black while she’s in a bright red dress. Her facial expressions were cute yet her voice was so powerful. Jisoo’s solo performance was great which makes Blinks more excited when she starts her solo project.
Then Jennie was up for her solo where she performed her unreleased song "You and Me." The dance showed some elements of ballet and contemporary. A new side of her that she is showcasing and pulled it off flawlessly.
Next was Rose, in which she sang "Hard to Love" which is from their latest album "BORN PINK." Her vocals shined out that night and you can feel her emotions through every lyric she sang. A great performance from her! Then she surprised Blinks with a second song of hers "On The Ground" which has broken multiple Billboard records.
Last solo was Lisa, and she came in rapping her hit song "LALISA." Mid performance, she did a pole dance which was incredible! She is a great dancer and it is awesome to see artists experiment in their genres of music and dance! Then she ended it with her solo song "Money." She had a dance break in between both songs and overall had a great performance. Her stage presence was as if she was born for the stage.
Their encore song was "As If It’s Your Last." Concluding the show, the lights and streamers brought liveliness to all the performances. The relationship the girls have with their fan base is one of a kind. They interacted with their fans throughout the show and created moments that they knew they would not forget. These four women are extremely talented and they continue to prove themselves each time they are on stage! Once again, they were born to be BLACKPINK!
